What a wild evening of midweek action.

For our bets, Texas Tech showed life at the end after going down 9-1 early. I thought they were going to do it. Coastal had multiple chances to steal that game from UNC yesterday, but came up short in extras.

Oklahoma, Florida, and Texas A&M all dropped their Tuesday night game.

A good SEC season can erase all early season struggles, but I would sound the alarm in College Station. The pitching hasn’t been awful, but the hitting & defense has been the root of the problem. The roster is talented, but there are hard adjustments needed to be made mid-season from a young, first year head coach.

Radford gave Tennessee a good run. The Highlanders jumped out to an early lead before the Vols jumped up 9-4 after the 3rd. Radford comes back to tie the game at 9 before the Vols run-rule them 22-9 final in seven. LSU struggled last night against a bad NDSU team. The Tigers were down 7-1 before coming back to win 11-9. The Vols will have a tricky one on deck tonight as they host Xavier. LSU will play NDSU again.

George Mason scored 23 runs in the second inning against Holy Cross without recording a triple or HR. It broke the record for the most runs scored in an inning. The Patriots had 19 consecutive hitters reach base. Holy Cross is also Auburn’s only loss this season.
