Another great weekend of college baseball on the schedule. With 15 pretty legit teams and Missouri, SEC baseball has been unreal so far this season. The series matchups we receive each weekend are a treat. Arkansas and Texas are currently tied on top of the standings with LSU and Tennessee right behind them.

Arkansas @ Georgia
- Hogs vs Dogs. With a 11-1 SEC start, DVH has the Arky in a familiar position at the top of the standings. With a series win @ Ole Miss and a sweep @ Vanderbilt, Arkansas is looking to add another road series victory here @ Georgia. Everyone hated on this Arkansas offense early in the season, but look at where they are now. Arky is currently playing some of the best baseball in the country and fully living up to the high preseason expectations. Georgia had the country’s hottest offense before hitting a wall at Texas last weekend. They produced only 8 runs across the series. The Dawgs are also switching up their starting rotation for this weekend. It will now go Curley, Smith, Finley. Goldstein has finally been pulled from Friday role. This will be a good series. I would like to think Georgia’s offense will have a better showing than last weekend, but I’m not sure it matters with how Arky is playing right now. Lean Arkansas.
Tennessee @ Ole Miss
- Liam Doyle and Andrew Fischer make their return to Oxford this weekend in what will be a top 10 matchup between the Vols and Rebels. Huge news for Tennessee as Gavin Kilen and AJ Russell are absent from the injury report this weekend. Kilen was a golden spikes finalist before a hamstring injury and will be a huge return to this lineup. AJ Russell is not projected to throw this weekend, but this will be his first series off the injury report. Doyle will get the ball Friday against his former team. Hunter Elliott will go for Ole Miss. Both offenses rank inside the top 15 in OBP, SLG, and OPS. I lean Tennessee here, but definitely expect Ole Miss to put up a good fight in all 3 games.
Vanderbilt @ Oklahoma
- Vanderbilt has held their ground in SEC play. They are fresh off a series sweep in Gainesville. Vandy’s strength is in their pitching staff. Thompson and Bowker one of the SEC’s best 1/2 combo. OU has moved Kyson Witherspoon to Saturday, so Friday is a great opportunity for Vandy to jump out to an early series lead. Can the offense show up on the road? After last week, I would say yes.
Wake Forest @ North Carolina
