Hello all, welcome. LSU has the opportunity to make today the final day of the 2025 season. Coastal needs to win to force a game three tomorrow night.

What a performance from Kade Anderson. A little pat on the back because I nailed it in yesterday’s article. Unfortunately I added a little 0.5u on NRFI yesterday right before the game, which lost with final score being 1-0.

LSU vs Coastal Carolina (Game 2)

Jacob Morrison will be getting the ball for Coastal. He has been magnificent this entire season. He shoved it to Oregon State in his start last week. The Beavers had some loud contact, but it resulted in an out nearly every time. Coastal will hope their ace will navigate this LSU lineup the same way.

Anthony Eyanson will go for LSU. Eyanson started against UCLA, but only made it 44 pitches before the delay. The Bruins did produce 3 runs in the top of the first. It wasn’t loud contact, but they did give Eyanson a rough time. Before that, his last start was in Supers against WVU where he was hit around for 4 earned runs. I’m not really worried though. Eyanson has flashed major upside at times this season and should be ready to go after only 44 pitches thus far in Omaha. He was on fire headed into his Super Regional start. I believe we are in for a good version of Anthony Eyanson today.

Eyanson isn’t Kade Anderson. I am not expecting that performance. Coastal is better offensively vs RHP anyhow. As I said, Eyanson should be ready to go which should hold Coastal off the board early (which has been very hard to do). The LSU bullpen is also fully rested after Anderson’s Complete Game.

The wind situation seems to be similar to yesterday’s. I may burn some $$ betting the NRFI right before lock.
