RECAP:

W6: 10-6 (+3.5u)

YTD: 80-53 (+23.41)

I will be honest, I have never started a football season hitting at this rate. I finished last season +11.17 so this has been a little lucky but no complaints. Just stay within your own bankroll, because regression will eventually hit.

  • Delaware missed a chip shot FG on Friday Night to send the game into overtime.
  • Oregon State almost came through. They dominated the net success rate but lost on the scoreboard.
  • Market agreed on UCF +5.5 & UAB +8.5 but end 0-2.
  • Pure luck on TCU covering -13.5. Frogs could have kicked the FG to go up 10, but instead threw it to the end zone up with :20 left on the clock. In Sonny’s defense, TCU is on their backup kicker but coaches know the number. Love to see it.
  • Live betting opportunities are fun if you are paying attention. Hit UCLA ML, Alabama ML, and Kent State +51.5 Saturday for small amounts. I do not officially track them on the spreadsheet, but you can follow me on Action: WRBets.

NOTES:

  • This Ohio State defense may be a generational unit. Very fast. Matt Patrica has replaced Jim Knowles perfectly.
  • Alabama has found their stride. They will need it as their next 5 opponents are: Missouri, Tennessee, SC, LSU, Oklahoma. Tide up to 3rd in National Championship odds while sitting at a +210 favorite to win the SEC.
  • DJ Lagway had his best game of the season as the Florida hung 29 on Texas through 3 quarters.
  • Arch Manning missed a few throws but the Texas offensive line is not very good. Florida had pressure all game, finishing with 6 sacks.
  • Everyone is focused on the American Conference for a G5 representative in the playoff, but don’t forget about Old Dominion.
  • The score ended 28-22 but Miami dominated on the road Florida State. FSU doubled their total amount of yards in the 4th quarter playing from behind. Hurricanes -210 to win the ACC and 4th in odds to win it all.
  • After starting 0-2, Duke sits 3-0 in ACC play after easily beating NC State, Syracuse, and California. Duke only has one game scheduled the rest of the month. Bye week then Georgia Tech then another bye week before playing Clemson. 2 weeks of prep for your 2 biggest opponents on the schedule.
  • Texas Tech is up to -120 to win the Big 12 after a dominant victory @ Houston.
  • Virginia is sitting in a great spot. 5-1 headed into the bye week with wins over Florida State and @ Louisville. They were one play away @ NC State from being 6-0 right now. Their remaining schedule will be: Washington State, @ UNC, @ California, Wake Forest, @ Duke, Virginia Tech.
  • Whoops, I left off the Shittney Lions. Lol. Jerry was dialing it up for Nico. PSU tried to come back in the 2H, but couldn’t stop Nico’s legs. Upset of the season.
