Week 1 Top 25:

Betting Recap:

YTD: 24-17 (+4.26u)
After splitting two days, we come through with a nice Sunday.
Notes:
My preseason ranked teams that lost a game this weekend
- UCLA
- Arkansas
- TCU
- Georgia
- Florida
- Oregon State
- Southern Miss
- Vanderbilt (x2)
- Louisville (x2)
- Wake Forest
- Alabama
- East Carolina (x2)
Oklahoma and Michigan go 3-0 against good competition. I was really impressed with the Sooners.
What a disappointing weekend from Louisville. The lineup finally woke up on Sunday, but needs Zion Rose to return. The pitching staff needs to progress.
Florida did not play well on Liam Peterson day (10 walks, 3 errors), but had an appropriate response for the double-header.
UCSB / Southern Miss was a high-level series. Two very good teams.
Vanderbilt has been a bottom offense in the SEC the last few seasons. This year’s group offense potential, but they did not show it much this weekend.
Kansas State goes 3-0 against Iowa, UConn, and Penn State. Wildcats hit the ball well all weekend.
Houston goes 3-0 in Puerto Rico with an impressive win over Wake Forest.
NC State handled business. They look like a team that will compete at the top of the ACC.
Texas A&M, Virginia, Georgia Tech, and Miami all scored 45+ runs in easy sweeps.
