Notes from the weekend:

Florida had a terrible weekend. If High Point didn’t lose control late on Sunday, they would have left Gainesville with a sweep. Cyr and Kurland getting healthy this week should be a boost.

LSU dropping the series to Sac State was eye-opening. The Tigers may be in trouble.

Arkansas splitting the series at home to Stetson is a red flag. One game they appear as an Omaha team, the next day they don’t. I still believe they will find consistency as the season progresses.

Tennessee drops the Sunday game to Wright State. The Vols were in a battle all 3 games. Offense is very mid, but fingers still crossed they somehow figure it out.

Virginia walks into Chapel Hill and nearly sweeps UNC. The lineup looked great and Henry Zatkowski appears to be a true ace.

USC and Texas stay unbeaten. Trojans have the arms needed to make a deep run. Texas appears to be the best all-around team in the country at this moment.

Wake Forest sweeps Stanford to extend the winning streak to 15 games.

Despite the injuries, Coastal takes the series from ECU. If this team can survive until Cam Flukey and others return, watch out.

California extends their win streak to 11 games after sweeping a solid San Diego team.
