Recap:
Week 11: 13-4 (+8.3u)
YTD: 130-101-3 (+22.55u)
Huge weekend. After two b2b bad weeks, it was nice to bounce back.
- I expected Navy’s QB, Blake Horvath, to suit up. Unfortunately, he was ruled out one hour to kick.
- Texas A&M & Missouri combine for 41 2nd half points (24 in the 4th) to go over the total.
- Contemplated on whether I should pay the juice for Auburn +7 or just lay the +6.5. As soon as I saw Vandy get the ball first in OT, I knew the outcome.
Notes:
Impressive end of the game drive from the Hoosiers, led by Fernando Mendoza. 2 phenomenal catches given all of the pressure. Indiana vs Ohio State matchup coming soon in Indianapolis.
Ohio State is the great and covering these large spreads, but what an easy conference schedule. It must be nice to not having to break out the playbook until late November/December….
Indiana will end the season being a 14+ point favorite in 6/9 conference games. Ohio State will end the season being a 14+ point favorite in 8/9 conference games.
A&M & Alabama will end the season being a 10+ favorite in 2/8 conference games. Georgia will end the season being a 10+ point favorite in 1/8 conference games.
There have been 48 total SEC games and zero have had 20+ point spreads this season. (Kentucky +19.5 vs Georgia and SC +18.5 vs A&M this week have been the only two remotely close).
Texas Tech is now -800 to make the CFB Playoff after dominating BYU.

After Tulane’s win over Memphis, it looks like it will come down to South Florida vs North Texas in the championship game. USF is +125 to make the CFB Playoff.
James Madison is up to +190 to make the CFB Playoff. If North Texas wins the American, the Dukes will have a chance.
Oregon survives with a 18-6 road win over Iowa. The early safety was the difference.

Vanderbilt survives a scare from Auburn as well Diego Pavia provides 4 TDs with 377 yards passing while rushing for 112 yards on 18 attempts. Vandy has a home matchup with Kentucky before traveling to Knoxville for the final game of the regular season.
Florida benched DJ Lagway. LSU benched Garrett Nussmeier.
Bad weekend for the ACC. Louisville falls to California, Virginia falls to Wake Forest, and Duke loses a non-conference game to UConn.
Wisconsin upsets Washington, holding Demond Williams to only 134 yards passing. Wisconsin’s kicker was their leading passer with 24 yards…
