• I would also lean Lamar ML but I like this game to be low-scoring. Cooper Golden will go for McNeese. He went 6.1 IP and allowed only 1 ER against Lamar back in March. He also had a great start two weeks ago against Northwestern State.
• Travis Lutz will go for Lamar. Lutz is one of the best arms in the Southland conference owning a 2.06 ERA, 0.96 WHIP, and 2.85 SIERA. Lamar is a severe pitcher-friendly park.
• I will be running this back tomorrow with both team’s throwing their ace. Eric Nachtsheim was Southland Relief Pitcher of the Year while Lamar’s Chris Oliver was the Southland Pitcher of the Year. Nachtsheim ranks 2nd in strikeouts among D1 pitchers.
