5/1 Plays

1.25u: Arkansas -113 FD

• I have been backing Hunter Dietz for weeks and I do not plan on stopping here. Both of these teams rank in the bottom 5 among SEC teams in BA in conference play. Arkansas sits at 28 in RPI. They could use a big series win to solidify a 2 seed. Dietz then Gaeckle at Baum Walker.

Michigan -118 FD

• I give Michigan a sizable advantage on the mound, especially with Kurt Barr going. The ball flies at Maryland’s ballpark, which does concern me. If it shoots out, I would lean Maryland. However, Michigan is sitting on the bubble and cannot afford to drop this series. I believe they come ready to play.

1.25u: Texas -122 FD

• What a matchup this will between two rop 5 teams. Dylan Volantis vs Tomas Valincius will be a showcase of the two best LHP in college baseball. Texas is a tough team to knock off at the Disch.

Arizona St -113 FD

• The Sun Devils sit at 45th in RPI. A road series win over UCF would be massive. I give ASU the lineup and pitching advantage with Cole Carlon going against Mateo Gray.

Florida -150 CZR

• Aiden King. I believe I have backed him in nearly every start, which has paid out well. I’m not stopping here. Oklahoma is throwing Karyn Leon, who hasn’t pitched more than 3 innings in a game this season. I believe this will be his first SEC start.

Tennessee -145 DK

• The Vols hit LHP well. Tegan Kuhns is fresh off his best start of the season. Ben Cleaver has been hit around. Kentucky needs to win this series, but I just don’t see it happening. Tennessee has been playing better baseball down the stretch. Lineup has come alive.

1.25u: Wake Forest + FSU -106 CZR

• Backing Levonas and Mendes. FSU screwed me last weekend. I think they find a way to get right at home against Pitt to remain in the hosting picture.

TCU -118 FD

• Tommy LaPour is back and TCU is playing their best baseball of the season. Ethan Lund is a great young arm for OKST, but he struggles with command and does not pitch deep into games. LaPour is likely on a pitch count. I am hoping he goes 60-75.

La Tech +175 (risk 1u) DK

• This price seemed insane to me. La Tech is fresh off a sweep over Missouri State and has been playing much better. Declan Dahl is a true ace and is talented enough to navigate this DBU lineup.

Texas St + USC +104 DK

• I like Texas St to get right at home after playing in b2b series against top 15 teams. They competed well. USC should handle Rutgers traveling across the country.

Vanderbilt +104 FD

• Last night was a heartbreaker for Vandy. I have no idea why Corbin pulled Fennell at 70 pitches. Vandy out-hit Bama. Zane Adams has not been sharp in his last few starts for Alabama. I like Vandy to even the series today.
