Georgia State wins outright as projected in the write up.

Utah dominates Arkansas 43-10 to bring the 1.5u play home.

3-0 on Saturday morning adds with Fresno, OKST / Oregon o54.5, and Kentucky / Bama o47.5.

Nebraska, Auburn, and, VT dominate to cover the large spreads.

A little comeback luck with UTSA & Texas. Maryland / UConn fell off in the 4th quarter to stay under 52.5.

UNLV struggles with travel off the island by only scoring 6 points, but the u58.5 hits.

Navy / FAU o58.5 and Delaware / Vandy o54.5 sail over the total.

Missouri pulls away in the 2H to win the Border War.

I knew OU was a square play and still took the bait. L

Syracuse outgained California by 200 yards but loses late.

Wisconsin and Clemson win easily but didn’t have enough offense to cover the number.

East Carolina sucks.

I late added Hawaii / NMSU o50.5 for a midnight sweat. It stayed under due to 2 missed XPs and a failed 2pt conversion.

Quick Thoughts:

Texas outscores Ohio State 21-0 in the 4th quarter to complete the comeback 24-23. The Longhorns outgained the Buckeyes 148-52 in that 4th quarter. Sark and Arch did a great job of keeping their composure. Ohio State missed a FG late and Texas took full advantage. The Longhorns are your new #1 team in the country.

Jeremiah Smith is the best player in the country. He went for 8/164/1 on Saturday. However, what does Ohio State do when opposing defenses key in on Smith and manage to limit the damage? In years past, they have had a WR2 step up. Against Texas, their WR room outside of Smith combined for 2 receptions for 24 yards. The Buckeyes also only ran for 3 yards per carry.

Oregon falls as 24 point favorites in Stillwater. Oklahoma State had one of the biggest one week turn arounds I have seen. Drew Mestemaker lit up the Ducks defense for 317 passing and 109 rushing. OK State’s defense played well. 14 of Oregon’s points were on a pick 6 and an interception returned to the one yard line. What a win for Eric Morris and the Cowboys. Oregon is in trouble and now projected to miss the playoff.

Michigan bounces back with a needed ranked win over Oklahoma. Their defense was flying all over the field. Oklahoma’s top weapon, WR Isaiah Satenga was completed shut down. He only recorded 2 receptions for 9 yards on 10 targets John Mateer was in a blender and missed throws throughout the game. Bryce Underwood had 18 rushing attempts (15 designed) for 87 yards and a TD. Michigan will need to continue to improve offensively, but this was a great start.

Texas A&M takes down Arizona State. However, the score does not indicate how close this game was. The Sun Devils had 114 more yards than TAMU and competed in the trenches. Arizona State had 4.2 YPC while limiting Texas A&M to 2.9 YPC. A 24 point 4th quarter with two late pick 6s gave Texas A&M enough to win and cover the spread.

Boise outscores Memphis 35-3 after mid 2Q to win a huge game for G6 playoff implications.

Kentucky had the 17-16 halftime lead over Alabama before the Tide outscored them 32-0 in the 2nd half to run away it.

Tennessee dominated Georgia Tech in the trenches. Led by DeSean Bishop’s 147 yards and 7.4 YPC, the Vols ran for 299 total yards. Despite another special teams TD, Georgia Tech could not keep up. The Vols lost TE Ethan Davis for the season with a torn ACL.

BYU takes down Arizona 28-17. BYU answered their passing game concerns. Bear Bachmeier tossed for 217 and 3 TDs with 8.3 yards per attempt.
